Your weddingceremony wording is the heart of your wedding day so your wedding vows and ceremony should be a reflection of your personal relationship with each other. Your ceremony is the perfect opportunity to incorporate intimate details about your relationship or something special you wish share with your guests, family and friends.

Our goal is to help provide you with a foundation that you can build your marriage ceremony script from. You are free to use the marriageceremony samples we are providing here. You can use them just as they are or you can incorporate readings, poems or something special you might find elsewhere. You may include family members or friends and even your children.

Most ceremonies are 10-15 minutes in length. If you wish for a shorter or longer ceremony that will depend on how much content you include as you are building your script.

So, start copying and pasting to craft the perfect ceremony script that will make your ceremony most memorable!Once it's complete, please email it to us two weeks before your beach wedding day.

Our Officiant services include a supplement ceremony complimentary! That includes the Sands Unity, Rose Ceremony or shell blessing. You are free to completely customize your ceremony so if you have another supplement ceremony in mind just let us know and we will help you ensure it's executed seamlessly.

Sand Ceremony:

You come here today from two different families. From these two families a new family will be created. Today, this unity is symbolized through the pouring of individual containers of sand.

Marcel, Dominique, Antoine and Pauline please hold your containers of sand.

As each of you hold your separate containers of sand, it represents your lives up to this moment; individual and unique. In a moment when you combine your sand together, your lives also join together as one.

Please pour your sand into the unity container.

The life that each of you have experienced until now, individually, will hereafter be inseparably unity, for the 4 are now one. Just as these grains of sand can never be separated and poured again into the individual containers, so will your family be.

Hands Ceremony:

You and your beloved face each other. First join your right palms, and then your left palms. This forms an infinity symbol with your hands, which symbolizes a love that will go on forever.

I love to begin with the sentiment that Shakespeare said, “Now join your hands, and with your hand’s your hearts.” (And in Las Vegas, you can probably find Shakespeare to utter that line himself during your ceremony!)

Then I ask the couple to look into one another’s eyes. There are a number of written/spoken blessings that can be used. Here is one that I have modified from a very, very popular hand blessing that seems to be all over the Internet (not attributed to an author, as far as I can tell):

These are the hands of your best friend. They are holding yours on your wedding day as you promise to love each other today, tomorrow and forever.

These are the hands that will work alongside yours as together you build your future.
These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years, and with the slightest touch will comfort you like no other.
These are the hands that will hold you when fear or grief wracks your mind.
These are the hands that will give you strength when you need it.

May these hands always reach out with love, tenderness and respect.
May these hands continue to build a loving relationship that lasts a lifetime.

With eyes locked, and hands linked, this ritual is a beautiful symbol of the union of two hearts, two lives, and two souls.

Shell Blessing:

Will each guest please take a seashell and accompany me to the water’s edge.

Before you met, your lives were on different paths with different destinations. But love has brought you together and joined these separate paths into one.

Each one of your friends and family here today have been given a small seashell that represents their unique individuality and their presence at your wedding today.

When a commitment this strong is made by two people, the force of that commitment, of that love, of that courage, reaches out and touches all of us around you, so that our lives are changed and we share a part of your love.

Like a seashell dropped in an ocean, the ripple of the love from this celebration extends and changes the world we live in.

I will now ask that everyone please take out the shell you have been given and pause to make a wish or blessing for happiness and good will for the couple and for the future of their marriage. On the count of 3 we will throw our shells into the sea and as the ripples touch and intertwine with one another, may our love and blessings also touch and intertwine.And should these shells wash up on the shore, may the blessings they contain reach out and touch those who find them, so that their lives are changed and we all share a part of the love that has been expressed here today..
