Maybe you had stepped away during that part of the video. I had to go down to Mars to finish off test weapon which ranked me up. So far I've gotten a 327 Arminius-D (crap roll), and a Full auto PDX-45. Might have gotten another, but not thinking of it right now.

This is also a good week where all 5 weapons are PVE.

The sad part is that all you're waiting for is the code in the box. Assuming you downloaded this week's update, you already have all the content ready to go. The code (or codes) in the box will unlock all of that content for you. The disc itself is the same one you already have.

So I joined a game on the100 to do my daughters and oryx kills. In less than 90 minutes we had knocked out all 3 of each, wiping twice on the daughters in the process. 3 straight Oryx challenge runs without issue. In fact, we lost a guy in the 3rd run and still finished it off.

Lessons learned: A 330 Touch Of Malice makes a difference in both battles. Before run 3 I and a couple of others infused our TOMs. My second run gave me 2 330 weapons, so I could feel free to experiment here. With our extra damage, we managed to kill the daughters even after the aura holder got knocked away. We were able to duck in and out of a blessing bubble and still had time to finish her off.

When you and your 1KYS are over 320, you can one shot the knights. I ran every time so I didn't get to check this part out.

The Ogres are melted by those higher level TOMs.

Basically, this was the first time I felt overpowered in those battles.

I still have 3 full raids to run on my main account. So Daggers killing Oryx will still be a thing.

I know Scott and I were talking about it a few days ago and I couldn't remember if you get gunsmith packages prior to rank 3 since I really only bothered leveling up 1 character

I can confirm today that you do since I got a package ranking my titan from 1 to 2

Eh, I'm fine. Plenty of things to do in the meantime. All good things come to those who wait! But I am excited to play with all of you, yes. I hit Level 16 last night and I really enjoy my scout rifle.

I'm just collecting stuff right now and haven't done all my infusion but I believe I am one piece short of being 335 on my Warlock if I wanted

This seems like this was too easy to get character light level up.

Combination of

1. infusion bringing the infused item to the same light level without penalty
2. items pretty much always dropping at a level higher than you are currently at

Wonder if they should have done only one of these things.

all characters at 333 or 334 and I haven't farmed sh*t. that is just from running POE level 41, POE challenge mode and raid drops once per character.

I went more than 6 months from last update, not getting a single max level helmet drop other than the two I grinded for during SRL. Have had two 335s and a 334 helmet drop in 5 days.

yeah, this update can almost seem like an anti grind for those who have done the dirty work in the past

not going to complain here ... it was a free update and only increased light level 15 points

like I mentioned to others in party chat ... I have over 4,000 motes .... I could have leveled up from 320/sub 320 to 335 in a matter of hours if I wanted to by ranking up factions and getting gear

new, new/old weapons are fun and even if you hit 335 there is still an arsenal of armor/weapons you still want to infuse up as well to be diversified

OK Daggers, so here we go with the reset report.

Leading off, I do not have an Oryx Checkpoint. Sorry.

The Nightfall this week is Alak-Hul for some strange reason. Modifiers suck ass.

Challenge Of The Elders this week is SYLOCK, THE DEFILED!!!!!! in Round 1. Val Aru'un in Round 2, and the Seditious Mind (Taken Hydra) in Round 3. The modifiers are Berzerk and Catapult. The scoring bonus this week is for grenade kills. So basically just go crazy with grenades.

My Titan is 4 points away from 335.

EDIT: me007gold and I went through Challenge Of The Elders. We 2 manned it first run, and went in blind.

This week is not as easy as last week. You don't get as many points for grenade kills as you did for precision kills last week. Plus, you have to try and maximize your grenades by hitting groups. Gold and I both ran Sunsingers and I used Sunbreakers. I think gold followed suit. Radiance with Catapult is awesome! Round 2 is actually pretty tough. The boss has 3 psion flayers protecting him that you have to kill off one by one. Sword probably would have been good there, but I didn't think to use it. Round 3 is pretty easy.

But overall, killing with grenades takes more time. But thinking of tether + radiance combos could really rack up points. There is a variks bounty for using void abilities, so for our 3rd run I switched to Voidwalker and used Nothing Manacles. Worked pretty good. I ended up with a 333 Lord Of Wolves, 334 Bow (already have a 335), the queen's sidearm and Warlock Boots (both 335).

I'm up for it as well.

Looking forward to running this later on. Guess I'll have to get my Nothing Manacles up. Only problem is I may only be able to get them up enough to be a 333. :lol:

Truthfully, I am glad the road to 335 is easier. Maybe it won't take the Daggers 6 effing months to feel comfortable running the HM raid....:lol:

So you still get one free sterling treasure a week for logging in, one for running level 41 POE and one for the weekly crucible playlist, correct?

What do you get for completing POE challenge? You don't get a piece of armor do you? I thought that was reward for finishing the quest.

A) We've done it and finished it twice the past week or so challenge style. You just haven't been with us when we did it. ;)

B) Correct...per account.

C) 30K in one round is a weapon, 90K over however many rounds it takes gets you the armor.

Honestly, the only thing that is holding the daggers back from easy weekly HM raid completions is sh*tty internet. Well, that and getting 6 of us online at the same time.

If cruz and ice ditched the tin cans and string, we'd smoke Oryx every time.

maybe we can charge you guys a small fee to upgrade our internet, probably a better investment than silver :p
